Summer is approaching Down Under and our travel itch is burning!
Luckily the legends at WeekendGO just conducted a study on the "Best Cities to Spend a Weekend" out of 1000 cities around the world and obvs Sydney made the list. (Bias aside.)
The study looked at the best destinations to spend 48 hours in by determining the key factors that make up visiting a great city for a short period of time.
Of course Australia is quite a distance from the rest of the world to take just a weekend trip, this study is the perfect jumping off point for mapping out a larger adventure and hitting up as many cities along the way.
The criteria for the rankings are listed as follows:
One of the raddest factors of the study is that they factored in equality for women, the LGBT community, tolerance, and safety.
Not only are all of the cities absolutely gorgeous, but you can really customize your holiday around the most important factors for you and your family.
Without further ado, here are the spots that made the cut for the Top 20...
